Aumann's Privacy Statement
Aumann's recognises that personal information that may uniquely identify its customers is extremely sensitive information.
We go to enormous lengths to ensure that no such details are stored on the web server in any form.
Although we do obtain information from your web browser, this information is used solely to identify you uniquely only for
purposes of page popularity and overall web traffic, and no attempt can be made to identify or contact you through such information.
The information we retain is limited to your IP address alone. This information is freely given by your browser, and is required to
be passed to our server in order to provide you with the web page contents. This is identical to every other website in
the world - we're not trying to be sneaky!
If more specific (and personally identifying) information is needed, we clearly state this. If you wish to take advantage of our
online purchasing system, you will be given the opportunity to keep your information permanent (it is stored in a secured database)
or to 'forget' the information once you leave the site.
Cookies? What Cookies?
This site only uses cookies for online purchases or processing newsletter subscription requests, and if you have cookies
disabled, the purchasing and subscriptions may not work. Once you've made your purchase or entered your subscription, you can
safely delete any cookies left on your machine (with the exception of the Forum cookies).
Newsletter Subscriptions
If you do choose to subscribe to our monthly newsletter, some
personally identifying information is required in order to actually give you something. It's the same as subscribing to a magazine -
if you subscribe, but don't give your mailing address, you're not likely to receive any magazines. The same thing applies here - if
you don't give us your email address, we can't send you the newsletter electronically. By the way, in common with many Internet
vendors, we do not accept Hotmail, Yahoo, or MSN email accounts. See below for more information.
We do not provide identifying information to anyone, for any reason.
Nor is this information stored anywhere else apart from on this web
server's secure database.
Using Hotmail/Yahoo/MSN for Email?
Like most legitimate online businesses, we have experienced major problems with customers using such unsecured free email accounts. From
a security point of view, the fact that anyone
can create unlimited accounts on Hotmail, Yahoo, and MSN (amongst others) for SPAM and pornographic email, then immediately delete the accounts
(causing email send errors) and then immediately create new accounts for the same purpose, means that we can no longer accept these accounts as delivery addresses for
newsletters, or as preferred form of communication.
Yes, these email accounts are cheap (free), but you get exactly what you pay for. Typically, free email accounts have severe
restrictions on the size of mail messages they can handle. Again, we have to expend significant time and resources to finding and
fixing such problems. Unfortunately, in our experience, they can never be fixed - all that we can suggest is to obtain an email
account from a legitimate ISP.
There are few, if any, ISPs that do not provide free email, or at least extremely cheap email accounts (rarely - if ever - for
more than $5 per month!). The fact that ISPs require proof of identity for such accounts has got to tell you something about
security and confidentiality! It also
means that such accounts are more secure and are preferred by most, if not all, online vendors. We are no different. In order to
provide you with prompt, efficient communications, we require legitimate, authorised email accounts - no Hotmail,Yahoo, or MSN
accounts are accepted.

Any and all information provided on this site is provided in good faith, and represents the best information we have access to at
the time of publishing. If you do find any errors, whether of fact or omission, please let us know and we will rectify that
information based on fact.
Product pricing and availability can change very quickly (especially towards the end of weekly Specials, when all stock may be
sold out). Therefore, please call us first to check for availability and pricing before coming in especially for such a product,
since availability may change (in either direction!) over a matter of hours.
