Spring has arrived, bringing longer days, warmer weather and the perfect opportunity to refresh your outdoor space. Whether you are planning a complete garden transformation or simply adding a few colourful plants, Aumann’s Building and Garden Supplies has everything you need to get your garden ready for the season.
Refresh Your Garden for Spring
After the cooler winter months, your garden may need a little attention. Spring is the ideal time to tidy garden beds, improve the soil, replenish mulch and introduce new plants. Preparing your garden early gives plants time to establish before the hotter Melbourne summer weather arrives.
Start by removing weeds, pruning damaged growth and clearing away fallen leaves. Adding fresh garden soil, compost or organic matter can help replenish nutrients and improve growing conditions. A new layer of mulch will help suppress weeds, retain moisture and give your garden beds a clean, finished appearance.
At Aumann’s, you will find a wide range of garden supplies to help you prepare, plant and maintain your outdoor areas throughout spring.
Spring Plants for Every Garden
Nothing welcomes spring quite like fresh greenery and colourful flowers. From screening plants and established trees to indoor plants, natives and seasonal varieties, Aumann’s has plants suitable for gardens of all shapes and sizes.
Create more privacy with lush screening plants, add character with feature trees or brighten your entrance with colourful potted plants. Australian native plants are also a great choice for Melbourne gardens, offering natural beauty while attracting birds, bees and other beneficial pollinators.
Not sure what will work in your space? Our friendly team can help you choose plants based on the amount of sunlight, available space and look you would like to create.
Pots, Soil, Mulch and More
